How to read this: a low price almost always means fewer cc. Always ask how many cc are in the quote, and whether VAT (10%) is on top. Many Korean clinic price lists say 부가세 별도 (VAT not included).
Rejuran Healer vs HB+ vs Eye
You'll see three names on Korean price lists:

How many sessions, and how long is the downtime?
Clinic guides commonly suggest a course of about 3 to 4 sessions, a few weeks apart, and a dermatologist's guide puts downtime at about 1 to 2 days, with small bumps where the injections went in that usually settle within 12 to 36 hours. (Dr Davin Lim, dermatologist) Gangnam Unni also notes it is known as a painful treatment, so ask for numbing cream.
What that means for a trip: one session fits easily into a Seoul trip. A full course usually doesn't, unless you stay a month or come back. Plan for one session early in your stay so the bumps are gone before photos and your flight.
Is there still a tax refund?
No. The VAT refund for foreigners on cosmetic and skin procedures ended on December 31, 2025. (Korea Biomedical Review) Some older blog posts and Reddit threads still mention it, so ask for the final price with VAT.
How to pick a clinic
- Dermatology clinic vs general clinic. A sign that says OO피부과의원 is run by a certified dermatologist. One called just OO의원 may not be. I explain the signs in my skin clinic guide.
- Ask who injects. At busy clinics it can be a different doctor from the one you consulted with.
- Compare by cc, not by session. "₩200,000 per session" means nothing until you know the cc.
- Check foreign patient registration on the official Medical Korea system, especially if you book through an agency.
